Facts about the

Building and Site


-Current Building erected in 1846

-Property Renovated in 1949 and 1976

-1999 Land/church deeded to Euharlee Valley Historical Society



Year 2005
-Before restoration began

Restoration Progress (since August 2005)
- Roof repaired and new roof shingles in place
- Reinforcement of sagging floor joists and leveling of sills
- Replacement of approximately 750 square feet of 1x 4 Tongue & Groove pine flooring
- Cemetery and grounds cleaned up
- Cemetery rubbings to preserve stone information
(Most of this work was done by volunteer labor and low cost or donated
materials. A lot of work remains to be accomplished.)

In the Fall of 2007

Thanks to Mr. Robert Godbee, his crew from Goodbee Siding covered the steeple and installed new vents while working off the bucket truck furnished by Tony Robinson from Robinson's Tree Service.
